Questions worth bringing to your vet.
A discussion about your pet’s mouth is more useful when the veterinary team also knows their broader medical history. Bring records of previous dental work, current diagnoses and all medications and supplements.
Ask how the examination findings relate to the proposed dental plan and whether further evaluation is recommended. Avoid assuming that one issue explains another without a veterinary assessment. Share observations about eating, chewing and daily routines so the team can consider the complete history.
